toteOne day while going through my Instagram feed I saw the CUTEST bag posted by KatiePickles (you can check her blog out here). Katie bought this bag from an Etsy store called Marine Parents. I started following April on Instagram and went and gawked at her different products. April, her husband and daughter are living in Japan right now because that is where he is stationed with the USA Marines. I put one of her beautiful Chevron Totes on my Christmas wish list and low and behold Stefan got it for me. I LOVE it. When I go out by myself I like to throw my wallet and a few other things in it and go on my fashionable way.

The inside has a beautiful anchor print in a navy blue and that makes me super happy. It has a magnetic closure and a pocket on either side. One big pocket which is great to toss those extras into, and a smaller pocket on the other side that fits my phone really well. It also has 2 pen slots, which for me is a big plus because I am always losing my pens.

pouchAnd of course since I love her stuff so much I also bought this super cute and functional “Forget Me Not Pouch”.  This cute little pouch comes with a matching tissue case and is filled with some great little items for those little emergencies while out and about. I keep this in my diaper bag and can easily toss it into my tote when I go out by myself.

The pouch contains:

♥ bath & body works anti-bacterial hand sanitizer
♥ altoids smalls flavoured mints
♥ orbits gum minipac
♥ small nail file (not pictured)
♥ a fun tube of chapstick
♥ a U by kotex pantyliner
♥ two colgate wisp brushes
♥ two shout stain removing wipes
♥ two band-aids
♥ five bobby pins & a hair elastic
♥ a one dollar bill

This is a great little item to buy yourself, or a friend. What a great gift this would be for a student, a new mom, or a gift for your bridesmaids. I love it so very much.

One thing I love about April is that her love language is gifts, and she pours herself into her work and usually adds little surprises to your order which I very much love.

So check her out and add all of her super cute items to your wish list or buy something. You should sign up to her newsletter and like her on facebook because she does have great sales every once and a while. You can also read her blog here to keep up with her life in Japan with her husband and adorable daughter.

Thanks for reading, commenting, and sharing.
