One day while going through my Instagram feed I saw the CUTEST bag posted by KatiePickles (you can check her blog out here). Katie bought this bag from an Etsy store called Marine Parents. I started following April on Instagram and went and gawked at her different products. April, her husband and daughter are living in Japan right now because that is where he is stationed with the USA Marines. I put one of her beautiful Chevron Totes on my Christmas wish list and low and behold Stefan got it for me. I LOVE it. When I go out by myself I like to throw my wallet and a few other things in it and go on my fashionable way.

The inside has a beautiful anchor print in a navy blue and that makes me super happy. It has a magnetic closure and a pocket on either side. One big pocket which is great to toss those extras into, and a smaller pocket on the other side that fits my phone really well. It also has 2 pen slots, which for me is a big plus because I am always losing my pens.

And of course since I love her stuff so much I also bought this super cute and functional “Forget Me Not Pouch”.  This cute little pouch comes with a matching tissue case and is filled with some great little items for those little emergencies while out and about. I keep this in my diaper bag and can easily toss it into my tote when I go out by myself.
