This fine Tuesday evening I am thankful for milk. Not cows milk (though I am drinking a glass of it while eating a spoonful of peanut butter while I type this), but breast milk.

I have been very lucky with breastfeeding (if you don’t count the mastitis and thrush). Capri has only ever had breast milk (to drink, well some water but I mean she has not had formula), and I feel really thankful for that. I have always wanted to breastfeed and I just hear so many stories of moms not being able to (whatever the reason may be). I knew I would try everything and anything to make sure we had a good breastfeeding experience. I am pretty sure I have enough milk to feed triplets and I am glad for that.

I love that I can go out and not have to worry about  having enough formula or bottles with me. I suck at keeping up with dishes and bottles suck at washing. I know that some people have to use bottles but I am just glad I don’t.

So this Tuesday I am thankful for a large supply of milk, that will hopefully continue to nourish my darling daughter for a while (I have no idea when we will stop).
